The ACC is unlikely to survive long term


In about 10 years, the SEC and Big Ten will carve it up. The money disparity is too great for the ACC, Pac12 and Big 12 to survive.

There may be a P5 breakaway, but it will end up a P2 with professional players not tied directly to the schools.

There will be another layer of schools below that whom opt out of pay for play or decide to stay the traditional route.

I still think that a 12 team playoff happens, because of the SEC, ESPN and $$$.
